I’m not exactly what you would call a “fan” of LDR but she is quite fascinating. Pawn Shop Blues is off of her deput album under her real name Lizzy Grant and blends a ethereal beauty that seems to be lacking from her most recent effort.
Enjoy!
“Lana Del Rey - Pawn Shop Blues
Not hip-hop, but I love this song with a passion. Honestly, Lana Del Rey’s first album was kind of disappointing. I mean I like it, but I know it could’ve have been much better. There is one song on it though that definitely stands out, which is this one. The first time I listened to it I felt like tearing up. Her voice drips with such overwhelming emotion that your mind can’t help but drown in. It’s simply one of the most beautiful songs I know.
“‘Cause it’s nice to love and be loved But it’s better to know all you can know”

:) Reminds me of my clarinet days.
Those were the worst days because, well, it was middle school. Those were the best days because I was literally surrounded by music in it’s liveliest form.
